Rainbow Dreams and Over the Moon: new private brand toys from Walgreens

Walgreens has launched two new lines of private label toys just in time for the holidays — a “space-themed” line called Over the Moon and a “unicorn-centric” line called Rainbow Dreams, per a LinkedIn post announcing the toys.

The Deerfield, Ill.-based retailer also promoted the toys with an adorable video of kids unboxing the toys and engaging with them that could be seen on LinkedIn. The toys are being promoted through influencers and other digital tactics.

Of course, YouTube hosts a bevy of popular videos of kids unboxing toys, so this video is a cute take on that, but what's neat is the video features children of Walgreens team members. The video can be seen on the Walgreen's LinkedIn account.

The toys in either line are whirring, beeping, neon-shining gadgets for kids to interact with… and there’s of course slime. There are nine items under the Rainbow Dreams line on Walgreens.com, including plush unicorn animals. There are six items online under the Over the Moon brand, consisting of a rocket-ship playset, wall clings and more.
