Aldi is celebrating the grand opening of two new locations this week, as residents in the communities of Lynchburg, Va. and Greenburg, Pa. will soon be able to shop in a new grocery store.

In the Keystone State, Greensburg residents beginning Sept. 14 will have access to the new store at 6207 State Rte. 30, Suite 1027. Virginia’s latest Aldi store will call the western part of the state home at 4026 Wards Road.

The first 100 customers visiting each store will receive a gift card as part of the Aldi Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card during the Grand Opening weekend from Sept. 14-17.

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier, and we’ve been voted the price leader for six years running,” said JR Perry, Saxonburg regional vice president for Aldi. “We have served this community for more than 28 years and are excited to continue to offer Greensburg residents an affordable way of shopping.”

Jeff Bianchetta, Petersburg regional vice president for Aldi, noted the new Lynchburg store provides an opportunity to further enhance the service the grocer has been offering residents of the community over the past seven years.
