FitForCommerce acquired by global commerce company

The company, which played a key role in the FMI Power of Private Brands study, will be part of a digital consultancy arm.

FitForCommerce, the commerce strategy consultancy that worked with FMI - The Food Industry Association on its recent study on private brands and e-commerce, including mystery shopping retailer sites to measure how it promotes own brands online, has been acquired by OSF Digital, a global commerce and digital cloud transformation company.

Kathy Kimple, chief retail officer at FitForCommerce, will be presenting a keynote address Jan. 19 as part of the Store Brands Industry Forum on Nonfood Innovation. OSF Digital, Quebec City, said the acquisition of FitForCommerce, supports its rapid growth plans and FitForCommerce will operate as the commerce strategy consulting arm at OSF Digital. The terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
