Texas-based convenience chain TXB (Texas Born) is adding three new, limited-time prepared food offerings to its menu.

Known for its prepared food and private label items, the chain is offering two brisket items and a fish item, available until April 5. The new offerings include the following, as described by TXB:

o    Brisket Quesabirria ($5.99) – A quesadilla stuffed with savory brisket, a little cilantro, onion and topped with gooey cheese.

o    Brisket Egg & Cheese Quesadilla ($5.99) – A brisket breakfast quesadilla stuffed with savory brisket, fluffy eggs and topped with gooey cheese.

o    Fish Taco ($4.40) – Baked white fish with a hint of chipotle spices, cilantro, onion and shredded lettuce on a flour tortilla and drizzled with Yellow Bird Serrano aioli, a product from the Austin-based company.

“At TXB, we love pushing the envelope on our innovative, locally sourced offerings,” said Anna Felz, TXB’s brand and marketing director. “For example, our Fish Tacos for Lent are baked instead of fried to provide our guests with a healthier option. Our guests deserve the best Texas has to offer and it’s been a blast uncovering these unique, on-the-go meals!”

Based in Spicewood, Texas, TXB operates nearly 50 locations throughout Texas and Oklahoma, offering a selection of more than 4,000 items.
